Who We Are
WA-CST-AP is a coalition of Consumer and Family Satisfaction Teams across 24 counties in PA.
Consumer/Family Satisfaction Teams survey people using mental health services and substance abuse services to assess their level of satisfaction with services. They send reports to the Managed Care Organizations, County entities and Providers to let them know what’s working and what improvements need to be made to maintain quality services in the system. The state also receives data from the reports.

Recovery Based Services
Services should be member-centered, racially and culturally appropriate, coordinated, flexible, and incorporate natural supports. Services should empower and encourage members, help them to feel confident in themselves, focus on different aspects of their lives, and offer hope to them about their future.
We actively meet and network, providing the opportunity to receive updates and provide input to the state and Managed Care Organizations. We provide trainings for our members. We share helpful ideas and best practices with each other. Many improvements have been made as a result.
